Who We Are

Founded in 1969, Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA) is the oldest and largest volunteer organization working to improve quality of life in Broad Ripple.

The BRVA is a 501c3 not-for-profit community organization serving residents and businesses in Broad Ripple whose mission is to advance the Village community through engagement and advocacy. This mission is executed through programs and initiatives focused on beautification, public safety, historic preservation, urban planning, economic development, community development, community-focused events, and advocacy.

The BRVA’s service area is the same as the boundaries of the Broad Ripple neighborhood: Kessler Boulevard on the south, Meridian Street on the west, the White River on the north, and Evanston Avenue on the east.

Individuals, businesses, and organizations outside the boundaries who are interested in contributing to the well-being of Broad Ripple Village may also join the BRVA.

Our Vision

We envision a Broad Ripple that is connected; economically and socially diverse; authentic to its history, environment, and people; vibrant with unique activities and events; visually interesting and attractive; and possesses a distinctive identity and culture. BRVA Bylaws
