The Broad Ripple Brewpub Hoods & Hops Car Show is all about cars, craft beer, and community! Founded in 2011, Hoods & Hops is the only car show serving the Broad Ripple area, attracting more than 100 cars.

broad ripple brewpub hoods and hopsThere is no admission fee for spectators (show car owners pay entry fee). Each event attendee will get a ballot to vote for his or her favorite car. The car with the most votes wins the Best in Show trophy.

Food, craft beer (from Broad Ripple Brewpub and other local favorites), and commemorative t-shirts and posters will be for sale. The event is family-friendly, so bring the kids and doggies!

  • Car owners should show up day of the event to claim a spot for a nominal entry fee.
  • Drive in on 67th Street and a volunteer will greet you with additional details.

Info for Car Owners
  • You don’t need to have a “show car” to participate; unique, old, and interesting cars are all welcome to attend.
  • No pre-registration required.
  • Car owners just need to show up day of the event to claim a spot.
  • YOU MUST ENTER THE BACK PARK ENTRANCE ON EVANSTON STREET and a volunteer will greet you. The volunteer will walk you to your spot, collect the $20 entry fee, and ask you to fill out a registration form. We will place a card in your window with year, make, and model.
Spectator Info
  • There is no admission fee for spectators.
  • You may enter the car show from the back of the park from Evanston or the front Park entrance on Broad Ripple Avenue.

For a Good Cause! Founder John Hill

Looking for a way to give back to the Broad Ripple community through a fun and unique fundraising event, Hoods & Hops founder John Hill, combined two of his favorite things, classic cars and craft beer.

Proceeds from Hoods & Hops are donated to the Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA), a non-profit focused on enriching the community, attracting investment, amplifying public spaces, and improving quality of life in Broad Ripple.
