Activities from 3 to 5 p.m.
Race at 4:30 p.m.
Buy your duck for just $5 each at the Braod Ripple Farmers Market from mid-May to the Saturday preceeding the event.
Buy your duck and get in the race!
Ducks are only $5 each. Increase your chances of winning by buying a paddling (6 ducks for $25). Ducks may be purchased with cash or debit cards. Credit cards not accepted due to Indiana State Law. You must be 18 years old to purchase a duck as the race is considered a gambling event.
Ducks may be purchased at the Duck Race, at the BRVA office or at the Broad Ripple Farmers Market.
Be a spectator
There is plenty of space to watch the race on either side of the Central Canal between the Monon Trail Bridge, the Rainbow Bridge and College Avenue. The Canal Esplanade is now open on the north bank between College and Guilford and is a popular viewing spot to see the ducks reach the finish line!
Enjoy more family activities
From 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., families can partake in a variety of activities on the Rainbow Bridge (where Guilford Avenue crosses the Central Canal). Enjoy face painting, temporary tattoos, balloon artistry, art and crafts, carnival games, and much more.
