[See details in Councillor Fanning’s blog post below.] The controversial development has been withdrawn after two presentations in front of the Land Use & Development Committee (LUD). It will no longer be on this month’s LUD agenda for this reason. While we always try to get to “yes” and cultivate projects that are widely supported and aligned with the Envision Broad Ripple Plan, every project is not a great fit. As over 100M dollars is currently being invested into our neighborhood, we are confident that thoughtful, responsive development will continue in Broad Ripple.
