Barbara Wilder is in her fourth season as the BRFM Market Master. Here are a few other things you might not know about Barbara:  She works as the Chief Quality Officer for MDwise, a not-for-profit managed care organization founded by the Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County and Clarian Health Partners, to help vulnerable populations needing health coverage in Indiana.
As much as she loves the products offered at the BRFM, Barbara says the people are her favorite part.Given all the menus in the world, Barbara’s favorite meal is whatever the chefs create for the BRFM’s annual Dinner in the Garden.

If she had a booth at the BRFM, Barbara would sell wild game (however, she’s not entirely sure how she would acquire it, so her backup plan would be to sell flowers from her garden at home).

Barbara started coming to the market before it relocated to Broad Ripple Magnet High School. A delicious basket of pears from Lee’s Orchard hooked her as a customer. Getting involved started when she asked for a yard sign and shared some ideas about promoting the market with the late Ross Faris of Your Neighbor’s Garden.
